We are the 91st Bristol Scout Group and this was our special-event station for Jamboree On The Air 2013.
JOTA runs over the weekend of 19th-20th October and gives Scouts and Guides all over the world the opportunity to contact each other and other amateur radio operators and pass greetings messages. More information about JOTA can be found athttp://www.jotajoti.org/.
91st Bristol is based in the city of Bristol in the south-west of England. Our web site can be found here and you can follow us on Twitter as @91stBristol.
We will be operating on or around the usual Scout frequencies on 40m, 20m and 10m. The planned schedule of operation is as follows:
Friday 18th (am)Setting up station
Friday 18th (pm)Station on air (testing)
Saturday 19th (am)Station on-air
Saturday 19th (pm)Station on-air
Sunday 20th (am)No operation
Sunday 20th (pm)Station on-air
The station is managed and operated by G7AGI. Please QSL via the bureau to GB0NFB or direct via G7AGI, NOT to the address above which is the station address. We will QSL 100% and there is no need to include return postage; you send us yours and we will send you ours.
